Simone Cassas is a freelancer editor and graphic designer based in New York.

She has been working as an editor for feature documentaries, tv news, spots, short movies, corporate videos, trailers and music video for the past three years in NY.

 

Prior to that she directed and edited promos, PSA's and created new on-air package for several TV channels in Brazil, including MTV, FOX, Nickelodeon, TNT and VH1. She also designed video-installations for several events and clients like Samsung, Volkswagen, Masterfoods, Fiat, etc.

 

She directed and edited two feature documentaries, both aired on the Brazilian TV channels Tv Cultura and Canal Brasil. "Everything Is Brazil" documents an art exhibition on Brazil's cultural expressions. "Trilogy of the Body" focused on the concept of "Body" in the realms of religion, health and politics.
